Who can apply for these funds? Any CG Staff member who is a member of the Center Grove PTA and has an idea that will enhance the educational experience of the students. Teachers may apply on an individual basis or with a group of teachers. Teachers of special subjects may also apply.
When can I apply? You can apply throughout the year, whenever you are inspired! Applications will be considered by the PTA from October 1 through May 1, or until the funds are depleted in that school year.

What can these funds be used for?
• New materials that enhance an existing curricular unit.
• Materials for a project that would be new to the class or grade.
• Professional development that supports building or grade level goals. (Requests for professional development must be accompanied by a letter or email of support from Mrs. Iosso.)
• These funds cannot be used to purchase curriculum materials that should be purchased through the regular school budget process.
• Requests for technology should go through the PTA Technology Project. (Please contact Dee Pokorny, PTA President at dee0627@verizon.net

How will my application be evaluated? All applications will go through a blind evaluation process and will be reviewed by members of the PTA. The readers will evaluate the application using the following criteria:
• Is the idea new to the class or grade?
• Does the proposed project support the elementary curriculum?
• What will be the impact on the students?
• Does the professional development opportunity support CG building goals?
• Is the budget clear and concise?
Funds granted by the PTA must be utilized in the same academic year. Funds not dispersed by May 1, 20010 will not be available, unless special approval has been given by the PTA. You are free to resubmit your proposal the following year.
