WORD SOUP

Word Soup, Center Grove's literary magazine, is a compilation of student's creative writing assignments which will be published in the Spring.  Students should submit an original piece of their choice in the form of a poem, essay or short story per the guidelines below:

How Many Compositions May I Submit?

A maximum of 3 written pieces may be submitted, but only ONE will be accepted per student this year.  The goal of Word Soup is to see every submission published, K-5.

Will My Work Be Proofed?

All work must be proofread by an adult (parent, teacher, coach, etc.) before final submission.  Please check for basic spelling, grammar, acceptable content and that the guidelines stated below are met.

Our "kickback" policy will enable a student to revise or re-submit work should any questions arise during the committee's review and editing process.

How Do I Submit My Work?

"All children have creative power."
Brenda Ueland
